1- The nominations for the RE Peter and Y Nagahama lectureships are open.

Nominations guidelines for the Richard E. Peter Lecture: Nominations should be submitted formally via electronic mail both to the President of the ISFE (Olivier Kah: olivier.kah@univ-rennes1.fr) and the President of the local organizing committee (Prof Haoran Lin: lsslhr@mail.sysu.edu.cn) 6 months prior to the meeting. A minimum of 3 well-argued letters of support from prominent scientists of different countries should be obtained. The Scientific and International Committees will select the speaker among those researchers who have been formally nominated by the deadline. The nomination package should include complete CV of the nominee and abbreviated CVs of the nominators.

Nominations guidelines for the Yoshitaka Nagahama lectureship:  Nominations should be submitted formally via electronic mail to the President of the ISFE and the President of the LOC 6 months prior to the meeting. A minimum of 3 well-argued letters of support from prominent scientists of different countries should be obtained. The Scientific and International Committees will select the speaker among those researchers who have been formally nominated by the deadline. The nomination package should include complete CV of the nominee and abbreviated CVs of the nominators. The deadline for the nominations will be the 1st of November 2019

2- The ISFE also has Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Lifetime Achievement Award will be handed to truly distinguished scientists in the field of fish endocrinology, people who have made a highly significant, enduring impact on the field through research, education, or other activities. Nomination will be accepted for people who retired within two years before or after the next meeting (2020 Guangzhou, China)

Nomination guidelines for the Lifetime Achievement AwardNominations should be submitted formally via e-mail to the President of ISFE and the president of the LOC. Three senior scientists from three different countries should sign the nomination letter. The nomination letter should highlight important lifetime achievements and provide the exact retirement date. The nomination package should include complete CV of the nominee and abbreviated CVs of the nominators. The deadline for the nominations will be the 1st of November 2019 Please send your suggestions to (Olivier Kah: olivier.kah@univ-rennes1.fr) and the President of the local organizing committee (Prof Haoran Lin: lsslhr@mail.sysu.edu.cn)

3- On top of these, there will be 3 plenaries that should reflect different topics of our field.

4- Support to young investigators.

The local organizers and the ISFE have secured funds to support young scientists. In order for the selection committee to do a fair job, send your application as early as possible. The deadline for the grant applications is the 1st of December 2019. The application package should include a motivation letter written by the applicant, a letter of support for her/his supervisor, a proof of registration, the proposed abstract.
