The 6th ISFE meeting took place in
Calgary in Canada in 2008. Professor Yoshitaka Nagahama gave the 2d re peter lecture. On this occasion, a full-day post-meeting satellite symposium was organized as a tribute to Prof. Richard E. (dick) Peter. Over 150 delegates including many of dr. Peter’s former students, associates, friends and colleagues were present and made this a true scientific event as well as celebration of dick’s scientific achievement in the presence of mrs. Leona Peter and dr. Peters’s two sons, Mathew and Jayson.
